Really great service when I called and booked appointment and at the time of appointment. Have a steam room and locker room. Very nice and clean. Will be going back!
phoned in early August to book a massage with an RMT and they said to phone back September 15 at 9am because by noon they would be completely booked for the next 3 months. So sept 15 comes and Im phoning at 9am and their phone is off the hook for 45 minutes! I ended up having to take a bus all the way there only to find a lineup on the sidewalk OUTSIDE because they would only let one person inside to book at a time. So instead of letting people stand inside their large reception area they make everyone stand in the rain. I was also told from a regular (who had been standing in line for over an hour) that they dont take phone calls at all while theyre booking in person. What if a client lives in Langley or Surrey? Apparently this spa expects those people to drive all the way there, wait in the rain, and HOPE they get a spot within the next three month time period. Considering the staff specifically told me to phone at 9 then they didnt take any calls left such a Terrible impression. I will never go there.
The staff is competent, knowledgeable, friendly, and serene - everything you're looking for in a spa! The facilities are pristine, and everything is cleaned between every single client, without fail. The showers are spacious, with divine water pressure and temperature. The steam room is lovely, with good sized benches and a peaceful quietness. If you're there for a while, splurge on the spa lunch. The wine was excellent, the portions large, and scrumptious. They also have snacks, naturally flavoured water, tea, and fruit for you to enjoy between treatments.The prices are a bit on the higher side, but you will think they're more than worth it, I guarantee it.
I've had it with the Wild Orange Spa and their policies about booking massage therapy. I have a gift card that was bought for me specifically for RMT - I am not interested in any other services there - but like so many others who have posted reviews below, this spa has the most ridiculous approach to making RMT appointments. I have been trying for NINE MONTHS to get in to see someone with no luck. When they open up appointments every 3 months, they actually turn off their phones. People who show up in person get priority. I live in Squamish and my in-laws live in Chilliwack, so I occasionally pass through Abbotsford. I don't have the option to drive to Abbotsford to stand in line to make an appointment (like what the receptionist recommended I do - she made it sound like it was my own fault that I couldn't get an appointment). I have no choice but to call. This is obviously a business that does not value client service or clients outside of Abbotsford. If I could give zero stars, I would. Too bad their management doesn't seem to give a damn.
