I absolutely love ACS! It has an amazing athletics program and an awesome arts and music program. I truly enjoyed my 14 years at ACS (preschool through Gr.12) and I hope you love it here as much as I did!I love this place, but I didn't have the best experience in middle school here. I didn't have very good teachers and I was struggling because of one of the girls in my class, the teachers turned a blind eye toward her physically hurting people because she was the daughter of one of the staff. Then she would make it look like I was hurting her or ignoring her, and I would get in trouble instead. PLEASE SPEAK TO A TEACHER IF YOU ARE BEING HURT IN ANY WAY!! I suffered through 2 years of this when a teacher asked me about it and I broke down. She used to be my best friend and I learned that some other girls had gone through this before me. I really hope this never happens to anyone else as this destroyed our relationship forever. I hope the teachers are more aware now but I wish that I would've done something sooner. This almost never happens, but I just hope that the teachers now know how to stop this from happening to others.
Logical, kind, welcoming. A great place to attend secondary school. Teaches LOGIC and SCIENCE, things that are uncomfortably difficult to find these days.
Could brush up on equal rights, not very nice to LGBTQ+ people, mildly sexist
