When it snows, we can't even touch the snow without getting sent to the office. Ridiculous rules. I feel like I'm in grade 2. We are literally the only school with these rules. Other ELEMENTARY schools around Abbotsford are being ENCOURAGED to sled, while Clayburn Middle School students are being sent to the office for touching snow, making snowballs, and sliding down 3 foot hills. Come on.
Was a very caring and nurturing school for our child during his time there. The PAC was quite active and involved.
I think Clayburn is awesome, except for some of the rules: No standing on ice, you can't throw snowballs, you can make snow, hold snow, a rule is also no running on concrete. I can't understand how that rule makes sense though. I love the teachers and EA's though, they are all really kind. And the majority of students there are fun, so that makes it fun and nice. The music program is good. The only problem is some people are farther ahead than others, so it can get kinda boring. Still fun though! Some of the teachers ask kids not to swear, but some don't. I think they should have more rules about swearing and stuff.
This school is awesome the teachers are very nice my only problem is that when it snows you cant enjoy it because the rules are crazy but other then that best middle school.
This school was actaully not really that bad. I miss clayburn so much it is so much better than Robert Bateman. I miss when I wasforced to read The Outsiders and watch the movie that was the best thing ever and now it's gone. This school had amazing teachers like Mrs.Olson and Mrs.Furest. Grade 8 was the best. There were also some wonderful caring EA's. This was actaully a good school
