A great place to go if you just want a quick bite of Vietnamese food or have a fancy meal. The place is pretty busy at lunch time which makes sense since the food is really good. The price range is great as well and I'd recommend anybody to go there. Very nice staff members and they pay attention to detail which makes me happy. Thanks for the great meals!
Wow! If you love wonton soup, head over to Vi La Palace ASAP! I've had wonton soup everywhere in Abbotsford and nothing tops the delicious, flavourful and FRESH wonton soup coming out of the kitchen at Vi La. They always have such fresh vegetables in the soup. The bf loves Pho and always gets the rare beef Pho. He says it's the best . The sweet and sour pork is SO good. It's crispy and has a rich dark flavourful sauce. Try the crispy pork spring rolls as an appy or their special house made hot beef Jerky. It's unreal Not only is the food fantastic, but the customer service is top notch
Was recommended to try Vi-La from some friends and was not disappointed. I had prawn and pork salad rolls and the yellow curry with chicken. It was very delicious and really good sized portions. Slight heat - perfect for me. The peanut sauce for the salad rolls was one of the best I've had. My friend had a chicken vermicelli salad with spring rolls and I would certainly come back to try that. Can't wait to come back and try more!
Pad Thai is the worst I have ever experienced. It was so ladened with Tamarind sauce it was barely edible! It was gross. Not only have I been to Thailand but many Thai restaurants local. I did advise staff but they just said sorry...not even a discount. Think they should stick.with just Vientamese food.
Food was really good. I was amazed because there were only 2 servers handling the whole restaurant and bar. Good hardworking servers. Food was just great .. Little pricey but that's justifiable.
