The setup is unconventional and could be misunderstood if you decide too quickly. The menu is simple and short but this is not to be confused with ample portions or quality. Known to the locals who phone in their orders and pick them up on the run, for freshly made sandwiches and deli-style food fare. Serve yourself coffee and soft drinks are also available. It is sometimes run by a one-man show and that's including the friendly chit-chat and or guitar strumming while you wait.The food is very good, and if you get a chance to try the Classic Breakfast sandwich you may never see or eat another from a fast-food chain establishment again!
Without expectations I came here to find local food...Ate the LASAGNA yesterday, REALLY good because I make really good lasagna and this lasagna was about par with mine .Today..., got the "shepherd's pie".SHEPERD'S PIE was survival food from when the English country side was devastated after black plague epidemic.Shepherd's pie was made with WHATEVER was available, imagine, having to survive such devastation...Sooo... Every Shepherd's pie IS different.O'Neill's restaurant pie is VERY GOOD !It's light, full of corn w/ meat and the breading is almost not discernible which is fantastic. Most pies are too heavy for our now day eating habits(s).(mixed SRIRACHA w/THAI red chili)Come eat here. Different yes, but great !
The sandwich is good but the guy at the front desk is super rude and makes you feel like you are an inconvenience to him. We just gave it a second chance and both experiences were terrible. We will not be back.
Amazingly yummy egg sandwich on a yam bun. I know right? Sounds interesting but they sell out & when they do, they close early. So get in there and try the classic! Good vibe nothing too fancy.
The owner is misunderstood. Makes fresh filling sandwiches. Best in town. Absolute favorite!!
