The Sandman Hotel was a great choice to stay in Abbotsford. The suite was fully equipped, leaving nothing to want. The kitchen area had a full fridge, stove top, microwave, toaster, hot water kettle, double sink, coffee maker, plus various kitchen wares (cups, plates, cutlery, pots, pans...). Everything was spotless. One closet included a small washer and dryer for clothing. The washroom had a nice deep bath. The bedroom had its own separate air conditioning unit and a wall-mounted TV and the bed itself just felt luxurious; there was also a pull-out bed in the sofa. Although there was only a parking lot view, the room had a small balcony if you want to sit outside and enjoy some fresh air. The staff were great too: We had one small problem with the room, but the staff fixed it promptly and made sure that everything was set right. I'd recommend this hotel especially if someone's planning on a longer stay in Abbotsford; in addition to the suites being very comfortable, the other necessary amenities are all clustered around it: a grocery store across the street, a mall a few blocks away, and both a Denny's and a bar-and-grill at hand.

This hotel was great. The rooms were quite clean and spacious. My only complaint is that the air matress i was sleeping on (supplied by the hotel) deflated within 30 minutes. Other than that, my experience at this hotel was great.

The staff is generally very friendly. The rooms are nice. Every one is like a suite with a kitchenette and a separate bedroom from the living room. Each room that I have stayed in has a balcony that you can sit on and enjoy the surrounding views. Nice hotel. The downside is their rewards program. It is very old school. They need to get up-to-date with digital records so you don't have to carry around a piece of paper with stamps on it. If they can get that fixed they could possibly get 5 stars.

Large rooms, amenities very close (restaurants, liquor stores, grocery stores, dollar stores), washer and dryer in room, comfortable beds. A little far from downtown. I like it here, I'm not coming home dear.

Okay so I didn't get to stay the night here because my family had accidentally booked a room at the other sandman in Abbotsford but even after standing in the lobby for 20 minutes I would stay at this sandman rather than the one at the airport. Even though i didn't even have a room booked with them the people at the front desk still let me use the phone because mine was dead. They were super understanding and helpful. We even got a good laugh out of it. The lobby is also gorgeous.
