My husband and I spend one awful night at this hotel, when we we were dropping our daughter off at university.Hotel check in was courteous but lacked personality or warm welcome. The hotel room smelled of cigarette smoke, with stains on carpet, bathtub had cigarette stains as well as towels. The bed was uncomfortable and squeezed with every single movement. The complimentary breakfast was lacking as it consisted of a handful of two bite brownies, mini cinnamon buns cut in half, sliced bread and a two Eggo waffles. The front desk was unattended when we wanted to checkout. The walls and ceilings had mass amounts of peeling paint and broken couches lined the halls. The outside walkway was covered in bird feces.The attached Rivers Restaurant however was very positive. The staff were friendly, attentive and quick. The food was delicious and filling and the portions were definitely farmer approved. The local police force has definitely approved, as we saw a large group eating. Would definitely return for the restaurant breakfast.
Mold. Peeling ceiling paint. Stains on the chairs, carpet and towels. Weird smell. Small and sad "gym". Decent pool. Nice front desk. Unexpected fees. Overall: never stay here if you value your health.
This place was tough to stay in. I didn't feel it was worth the price of the stay. The room was nice and large, but it wasn't the cleanest place. I don't think I would stay here again. I'm not certain if there were bed bugs. But multiple reviews, I read afterwards, showed there maybe bed bugs. It was quite busy at the hotel, they also had a barely decent breakfast.
Its safe to say Im extremely disappointed and grossed out. I booked a room here for the night and it looks nothing like the pictures. Theres bed bug dirt in the beds. Stains on the bedding. The towels are destroyed and stained. There was a nail clipping on the desk. The AC didnt work in the room. There was a dry wall patch in the ceiling from a water leak. Then beside it is water stains. Theres an electrical plate being held onto the wall with black electrical tape. There are quite a few sketchy people going in and out of rooms here. Which doesnt make me feel very safe in the room. The front desk lady was extremely rude and treated us poorly. Then they actually expect me to pay over $100 a night to stay here. With a $100 deposit. Definitely regret not booking at the best western.
Absolutely disgusting! My husband and I have come here a few times in the past several years. Been a couple years since we had been there. And we were sadly disappointed this time. Our room smelled like urine. Paint peeling everywhere. And just plain dirty. We COULD NOT stay! Got our money back, there was no chance I was sleeping in that bed or even using the washroom. I'm not a picky person but this place is nasty!
