Went last night for birthday dinner. Food was delicious and fresh! Staff was fantastic - great service, knowledgeable, pleasant. Really enjoyed the experience. And the key lime pie was a great end.
I'm usually one of those "tough customers" when it comes to food - it takes a lot to blow me away, but let me tell you, Bow and Stern makes it look easy!Everything on the menu I've sampled has been excellent. The burgers are so moist and flavourful - better than I'd expect at eveN a specialty burger joint!My number one item is the fried chicken with honey and thyme. The breading is the perfect thickness - so tasty and the perfect vehicle to soak up some honey drizzle. The chicken itself I have nothing to say about other than - it's perfect. I could eat it all day, every day. 10/10 would recommend (though I know the seafood is the draw!)The ambiance is excellent, appropriate for a get together with friends or a romantic night out! Prices are really reasonable for the quality of food - totally feel like I'm getting bang for my buck, especially compared to other eateries in the area.Definitely our go-to when hosting visitors and showing off the FV!
I brought my parents here before they hopped on a flight back to Ontario. We read their great reviews and wanted to try their fish and chips. Their service was top-notch. The food was delicious. The restaurant is modernized and very clean. The bathrooms are super cool too. Overall it was a great experience and a must visit if youre in the area.
Amazing, fresh seafood. Cozy vibe and great service. We had the seafood linguine and the halibut and chips. Everything was perfection. Best coleslaw I have ever had, hands down! Cant wait to come back and try more of the menu!
Very impressed. My wife took me here for my birthday night out, we are a bit seafood snobs being eastcoast blooders and have expectations for quality. We ordered the hot seafood platter, and it was amazing. Probably the second best one we have had ever in BC and the other one was on the island and double the price. We love the ambience of this place, very traditional meets modern, clean bathrooms and despite how busy they were, our food was quick and excellent. Our waitress was skilled and very polite, not annoying but just enough to make sure we were happy. Upgraded our table to a bigger one before our food came so we would have more room and be comfortable. The deep fried ice cream... You haven't lived until you've tried it!
