People write reviews of a hospital?Uh, okay...It's not like the hospital has a whole lot of say over how they run: Many of the decisions are made well above the heads of the Doctors and Nurses there. Have people had bad experiences here? Undoubtedly.Have I? Yes. I don't think I've ever gone through Emergency in less than 4 hours. If you ever need to go into Emergency care, make sure your phone is charged and you've got plenty of entertainment/reading material. Still, is it a good hospital? Certainly. The staff is generally quite competent, and they do a great job with the limited resources and personnel at their disposal. I'm VERY thankful that I live in Canada and have a health care facility like this available. Lord knows, there's plenty of clinics in jungles somewhere that are filled with people who would do almost anything to have the sort of care available at ARH.Also, here's a local tip for you. Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church is 2 blocks away and allows their parking lot to be used for Hospital traffic. Seeing how much parking costs at the hospital, if you can make the 2 block walk, you'll save a fair amount of money if you have to regularly go there to visit someone.
My mom was brought in after a car accident. Being that emergency takes hours she had fallen asleep. When my mother comes home she tells me the doctor was continuously jabbing his pen into her chest to wake her up. Completely furious. What kind of person, let alone a doctor, does that to someone ?!
I wish people would be thankful for the services and excellent staff that we have at Abbotsford Hospital. The staff at this hospital have always given my family 5 star treatment, courtesy and patience. They give us the time we deserve so the could fully understand the situation and provide the necessary treatment. I was very satisfied with our treatment.
Since this place was built I have not had a single good experience here. Staff are careless and overall pretty unintelligent. 9/10 I wait until I feel like Im dying before considering dealing with these clowns
What can I say....hospital is a hospital is a hospital. Fairly large building. Very nice staff there. Been there 3x to drop people off. Average wait times.
