Disappointed that our Abbotsford Safeway has gone so down hill the past couple of years. From the Grouchy old produce man, to the terrible bakery service. Things have changed! Deli meat is sky high $... No one is EVER in the bakery to help. They order pre packaged pies etc in now rather than bake it in store fresh like they used to! At least they still have fresh bread.
Safeway has excellent customer service. The best experience in this store to date.
Horrible place if you're looking for a pleasant experience. The employees are all stuck-up and the managers seem very hostile. The selection is also not that great. Hygiene needs to also be addressed since there are rat traps everywhere.
How many times have I dropped in on my way to work in the morning, to pick something up for the office kitchen or myself ... at 8:30 am, no self-checkout tills open and only 1 cashier, with a line-up of dear elderly people who want to chat & take their time ... great store, but OPEN MORE CASHIERS IN THE MORNING!!!!!!!
It was very enjoyable. The cashier was friendly and easy to talk to.
