I went to pay MSP bill like I normally do. There's a young cashier that I never had a problem with among some other ones that are polite and professional.I don't mind waiting in line either so I was fine with the wait. I got called by a cashier I have never seen. Asked for ID which I questioned . Gave her my account number, my debit card then my id. She told me that she has been in banking for 12 yrs and seen many scammers. What I minded was that she could not pay my bill and was having difficulty and I had to wait. She caught my regular young teller coming from break and asked him for help. She told me that I could pay it online and argued with me about it. Wow I found this teller to be rude and argumentative, instead of helping me telling me that I shouldn't have the choice to go to my bank to pay a bill.I have been banking at Vancity since 1990 . I never have a problem with my branch in Mission or go to Chilliwack when I work there. Live in Abbotsford so find it convenient to use this one but no more!
Awful customer service, totally disrespectful and terrible. Had a tell tell me to my face that he could not close my account because there was a line up of people. Filed a complaint with the branch manager and their head office. If you're looking for customer service and proper explanation of banking processes I suggest you go somewhere else. I am now a happy customer of RBC
This bank has been down for 4 days now. We count on the banks infrastructure to ensure we will have access to funds and services. I think its about time to find another bank.
Was waiting about 30 mins in line, didn't move anywhere. My 4 year old daughter had to use the washroom, so we asked the lady if there's a washroom she could use and she said "No, not for public use, there's a coffee shop across the street". She was a peach to deal with. Never setting foot in there again, closing my account and cancelling my visa with them.
Been banking here since a teenager. Im a fan of credit unions and what they do for the community and the lower transactional fees (if any) they have for their customers. My only complaint is the long lines when the ladies at the front could use either a red bull or some more pep in their step. Its slow, and they take their sweet old time, but they are professional and polite and remember you.
