I cant understand why the cupcakes I purchased were all so bad. Some were overcooked and dry like the red velvet; others outright tasted nothing like food - the smore cupcake was waxy and stale. It was inedible, like eating a Lush bath bomb. So bizarre and disappointing, and a waste of $20.
Beautiful quality and they taste amazing! My personal preference is less icing, but I appreciate that the design requires a solid mound on top (as you'll find with cupcakes anywhere). I've had the mini cupcakes and regular-sided ones and have always enjoyed them. My absolute favourite/recommendation is the red velvet brownie cupcake. It's divine!
Baker never seems to be in to take orders for cakes. Stunning!
Customer Service at this location is the worst. I called yesterday to see if I needed to pre-order a Big One cupcake for my daughters first birthday today. She told me they had one I could come get and they would ice it for me. I told her I wouldnt be coming in that evening and wanted it for the next day. She said this one should still be here and left it at that. Because I really wanted a leftover cupcake. Anyways, she had zero interest in helping me and didnt take my name for the cupcake or bother to say goodbye before hanging up the phone.I went in today and asked about the cupcake I had inquired about the previous evening and of course it was gone. Zero apology was offered nor any sort of solution for me. I proceeded to buy 12 regular cupcakes from the person behind the counter with no people skills whatsoever. Such a huge disappointment.
Cupcakes are okay. Nothing amazing. Customer service is virtually non-existent. We walked in and the lady working didn't even look up from what she was doing to acknowledge us.
