I really had a good day as they had everything I was after and the customer service was the best and very friendly. Reminding me that if u have time it's worth seeing what's up in the smaller stores. Made my day!!
Awesome sale. Went in with a friend, and ended up buying 3 Turkey's. When I seen that they're $0.99 per lb, I had to buy 3. I had no intentions of buying anything. Thank you.
I had been an employee there for 12 years and it was honestly so much fun working there. All of my coworkers felt like family to me. I would've stayed employed longer but due to the store closure happening in September 2018, I had to find a new job.Prices were actually good - Grocery department had awesome deals and amazing product. Lots of stuff you couldn't find anywhere else. We go out of our way to bring in product that people could only find out of town or odd stuff no one really knows about, just to please the customers.We do not "set prices" to make things higher than what they should be. We are always marking product down due to upcoming expiration dates or too much stock on hand. We do not "restrict stock" from being on the shelf. We deal with warehouses all throughout the country so we only get orders once a week for some stock. We can't help that people come in at opening time and clear the shelves of all the deal stock, then we won't get an order for a week for that item. You can get rain checks written out for you (which is a bonus since most stores don't do this) as long as it's in the flyer.Also, many employees are going to be out of jobs so maybe instead of saying "where am I going to shop now," think about where are they going to work now. Many have been there 10, 20, 30+ years so this is going to be an adjustment for them.I suggest that if you're ever in the neighbourhood, check out Parisotto's Independent Grocers. They are only open for a couple more months but they deserve some great service towards the end. Thank them for their service and have some common courtesy for them. They're a great group of workers.
A great place for instant lunches and fancy cheese. Being able to use PC Optimum Rewards makes it a great place to shop if you already like Superstore and Shopper's Drug Mart.
I'm so sorry to see this store closed..all because the new mall owner wants to rip it out for condos/apartments!! Pathetic!!! My heart goes out to those that worked there. It was a good store!! I wish them all the best !!!
