This is an outdoor mall constructed in a temperate rain forest. in summer it is fantastic. in the rainy season it really is less enjoyable. ample parking and good access to the freeway make this mall easy to reach. Some good stores here, but it's 'street like' design really seems artificial since they are not streets that lead to residential or other areas.
They should put alarms on their umbrellas, as I see them all around town.Parking lot is a bit of a mess, but, ample underground parking helps with that. Mostly covered walking area and free (to use while you are there) umbrellas really help with the open air concept when weather is poor. (Because it rains here)
My bank is here, but I have to park 1/2 kilometer away because there are so few spots on the same level. Takes me 15 extea minutes to deal here at lunchtime. Pedestrians and vehicles are very close. Pedestrians are fighting with cars. Cars are fighting with pedestrians. Not literally, but very interactive. Who thought of driving cars through the busy pedestrian area...
One of my favourite shopping malls. Not super huge but has a good selection of stores. Has an amazing sushi restaurant. Also in my opinion one of the best movie theatres around. Usually not too busy in the mall. Parking can sometimes be a hassle. Recommend parking underground in the Walmart parking then walking up to go to the mall.
This strikes me as a mall better suited for teens. There are many great stores but the open air concept and movie theater lends better to a younger age group. This would not be my mall of choice for large shopping trips but if you needed one thing its nice, open aired and the grounds are clean
