I just moved from Ontario and Im trying to get everything switched over to BC (drivers and medical). My first visit was very disappointing i waited around a long time only to be helped by a very unfriendly lady who didnt help me very much. I came back a few weeks later and was helped by Tara who was sooooo nice and helpful! She even helped me again when i came in yesterday and remembered my situation and did everything she could to help me out. She was a wonderful employee and i was very impressed.
They are making loads of money by failing people . Instructor In the end goes. " reverse park back up." Then asks you' have you done this road test before?? .. automatic obvious fail if you reply No' first time. They are not very friendly' the staff here are chit chatting with each other like high school kids in a cafeteria ,wasting time instead a slow service. They would not even take a photo of a service card for my wife because they said she did not have a last name. VERY unprofessional service.
I had quite a good experience at this location. I only had to wait ten minutes, at most, for my class 7 road test and was even called up to start 5 minutes before my scheduled start time. I am only able to speak for the examiner that I had, but he was very calm, kind, and helpful. He evaluated my driving honestly and practically and gave me some very helpful feedback. It is not a bad area for a road test either. The downtown area can obviously be busy, but around 10 or 11 am on a weekday it was pretty good. Not too much traffic, but still enough to look like driving in an average downtown. The parking lot at this location is also quite nicely laid out, with comfortable rows for road examinees right in front of the entrance. As far as ICBC goes, this place seemed pretty good.

I came on a Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm and the place was pretty packed. To my surprise the process went fast (20 minutes to renew my license). The main receptionist was personable, efficient and very cheerful. In fact every employee I observed during my wait was pleasant and quick. Well done!
