The dentist and customer service have always been amazing. That being said, holy cow. There is this one hygienist who was so mean to me. The first time I had her was for simple hygiene. She kept yelling at me to open my mouth. I sincerely was trying my best. I explained this to her and said Im doing the best I can and my jaw was starting to hurt. She said in a curt manner well I cant do my job if you dont open your mouth... so open your mouth I was in shock.. I obliged and just hoped I never saw her again. The next time I was in was to see the orthodontist (who is the NICEST guy) I walked in the door and explained I had been followed by the old orthodontist who was in this office and needed to somehow find my retainer mold or have a new one made. She looked at me as if I had three heads and said well, what do you want us to do about that?I said, well I need to either start over, have new trays made, or track down my old trays.. Im not too sure how this all works she then rolls her eyes and said well you go track down the old orthodontist I said, pardon me, I find you very rude and Ive had you before and you were very disrespectful. I dont appreciate itShe glared at me and said excuse you? I have not been rude to you and quite frankly I find you annoying and jumpy I said I apologize for being jumpy. I am really nervous at the dentist. I dont really know what this processs is. Ive spent over 5000$ a few years ago for Invisalign and Id hoped that I could not make that all a wasteShe then replied Ive been doing this for many years.... I know what Im doingI found this odd... this reply didnt reallt make sense, but I dropped it. At this point, she rolled her eyes and stormed out and at this point brought the doctor in. She stood there with her arms crossed and said well Im not sure what she expects us to doHe was so kind and respectful and helped me through the process. I really only am staying for the front desk staff and the doctor. I am beyond disappointed and think this staff member should be coached on her attitude. I hate complaining and I had hoped after the first time that she had just had a bad day. After a conversation with my mom it sounds like she had a similar experience. Im so sorry for the bad review Clayburn Dental. I just have never felt so disrespected in a professional setting like this.
I would highly recommend to anyone who, like me, experiences any kind of anxiety. So patient and understanding. They took the time to ensure I was comfortable, relaxed and informed every step of the way.
I went here to have them reapply a filling they had done to my front tooth before. Only for them to tell me I needed a veneer and refused to put another filling in. Saying it would just fall out right away. Even though the last one lasted me 6years.Not liking their price on the veneer. I called around other dentists for a better price. When I found one with a price in my range, they refused to give me a veneer and would only apply a filling. Saying I did not need to go through the extensive expensive work to fix my minor chipped tooth.
My hygienist Amy is one of the main reasons I go to Clayburn. I feel I am being treated as a family friend. The dentists seem to move around but all three I have dealt with have been very professional & personable. I do not hesitate to recommend Clayburn Dental to anyone.
If looking for great work done on your most important and precious periley whites come here and with the great staff from the dental hygienist to the dentist himself, you truly will appreciate the skill, professional and kindness that come to make this a truly wonderful dental office. Children and adults alike are welcome and given the opportunity to get work done by an awe inspiring artist in the field of dentistry. Enjoy..
