We recently took my 4.5 year old granddaughter to Castle Fun Park on a rainy Sunday. We arrived around 11 am and spent 4 hours here! Honestly, we had a great time! There are a lot of activities to do but to participate in all of them I'd recommend the kids be between 6-13 as some have a height requirement like bumper cars and go carts. That being said, all of us were well entertained and enjoyed a really nice lunch too. They have a darned good fast food menu and very nice designated area to eat in. An "animated animal band" sings and plays on the stage at regular intervals. Reminds me of the days we took our kids to Bullwinkle's. Yes it starts to get crowded as the day progresses but this place is HUGE! I barely even noticed all the other people. Seriously this is a fabulous place to take your kids for an entire day and it wasn't ridiculously expensive for the four of us. Sorry for the lengthy review but I was pretty darned impressed with this place and the price when all the amenities are taken into consideration!!
Great place for kids of all ages. Bit of a drive from Vancouver. Enough things to keep the parents entertained. Some of the rides may have a long line up like the go-kart. While others may be broken or down for maintenance. Nonetheless it's lots of fun!!!
Kids really enjoyed it. The mini golf was fun. Even though the coin games varies in cost, it sure is easy to spend your money quickly using the loaded cards. The atmosphere was quite loud but that is what you get with lots of kids. The laser room was fun but didn't feel like it lasted long enough.
I take my nieces here when they're in town, and the kids love it! so much to do, and kids 10+ can drive their own go kart if they're tall enough (younger/smaller kids can be a passenger in a double if someone 16+ is driving). The food here is actually not bad either. typical burgers, chicken strips, fries etc. but they're always VERY hot and freshly made when I've been there. Also, castle fun park recently got new skeeball machines. you don't get tons of tickets from them, but it's still fun to play.
I didn't know what to expect going to castle fun park. I went as a work/ staff outing. It was a lot of fun and they have a lot of fun activities/ arcade games to play. I particularly liked the mini golf courses. We were only there for a couple of hours but I would suggest spending more time here. It would be nice if it was closer to the city but it's still worth a drive. Fun for kids and adults alike.
